APPLE UPDATE: 06/24/2024 This year our apple trees are resting, so we will not have very many apples to pick. We will be opening on Saturday, September 14th and will stay open until the apples are gone. We will have Red Delicious (not many), McIntosh, Jonagold, and Arkansas Black. This year we will be open to schedule a group that picks 20 or more bags every day of the week at 2pm or later. The whole apple picking experience will last about 2 hours. Your group must have an appointment. In addition to taking home your apples, you get apple facts, a tour of the orchard, and your own free apple cider making and tasting experience. We are a U-Pick apple orchard where for only $15 you can pick a "half peck of apples" which is about 5 pounds and spend a fabulous afternoon in our beautiful mountain orchard and charming gold-rush era town - Julian, California. The apples are not perfect like store apples, our apples are pesticide free and all natural - they have never been sprayed. Our soil has not been contaminated with pesticides or weed killers either. A deposit of $75 is required up front to hold the reservation two weeks before the date.

Go about 2 or 3 miles and go left at the sign for highway 79 and Cuyamaca. Follow signs through Cuyamaca to Julian and turn left into town. Go north (straight) out of Julian on Farmer Road (Main Street) for just over 2 miles, across Wynola Road (straight at stop sign) to Julian Orchards Drive. Go past Volcan View Orchards, past Menghini Winery to the second to last building on the left - green and white. orTake highway 67 or 78 east to Julian, turn left, north. Go north out of Julian on Farmer Road (Main Street) for just over 2 miles, across Wynola Road to Julian Orchards Drive. Go past Volcan View Orchards, past Menghini Winery to the second to last building on the left - green and white.
