Welcome to Apples and Art Orchards
ATTENTION: We are now taking reservations for this coming Fall 2021. Our official opening date is Friday, September 10th. We do two time slots a day, 1:00 and 3:00. However, we have some early apples the last week of August - Prime Red and McIntosh, so if you want these apples, book for that week. We are open daily for groups that pick 20 bags of apples or more. We do not do individuals or small families, sorry. We will be requiring people to be vaccinated. To make your reservation today, use our email address email@example.com. Growing now, we have many McIntosh, Red Delicious, Fuji, Gala, and Green Pippen and some Heirloom apples. They all ripen at different times, so not all will be available for each group. This year we will have our own small cookbook available for sale for only $5 each. Inside are our own recipes including the first place apple days pie recipe from 2015 and second place from 2009. Don't forget to bring cash to buy one for yourself! It is CASH ONLY! Apples and Art Orchards- for groups that pick 20 or more bags onlyis a U-Pick apple orchard where for only $12 you can pick a "half peck of apples" which is about 5 pounds and spend a fabulous afternoon in our beautiful mountain orchard and charming gold-rush era town - Julian, California. Our apples are pesticide free and all natural - they have never been sprayed. Our soil has not been contaminated with pesticides or weed killers either. The apples are not perfect like store apples - ours are pesticide free and have never been sprayed, so there may be spots or tiny holes. In addition to taking home your apples, you get apple facts, a tour of the orchard, and your own free apple cider making and tasting experience for groups of 20 or more bags picked. A deposit of $60 is required up front to hold the reservation two weeks before the date.
